Job Description:

Providing leadership and direction to the Worship ministry of Calvary Bible Church through;
-Assisting the pastoral staff and deacon board in providing a vibrant worship ministry that is an extension of the overall strategic plan of the Church
-Assisting the senior pastor in the developing and overseeing the weekly worship services -Developing and training of worship teams, band, and choir to enhance the regular times of corporate worship
-Meeting regularly with the worship teams, bands, and choir to discuss issues and direction related to the worship ministry
-Overseeing and developing the entire technical operations associated with the worship ministry
-Planning and executing special programs (i.e. Christmas/Easter) that have as their purpose the exalting of Christ and the opportunity for outreach in our community
-Providing feedback to the senior pastor and the pastoral staff of any special needs within the worship ministry
-Ensuring proper accountability and conducting yearly evaluations of the worship ministry

Facilitating the spiritual growth of the congregation of Calvary Bible Church through;
-Developing a vibrant worship ministry that ministers to all age groups through using a blended style of worship
-Planning and leading services that utilizes creative means to communicate the truth of God’s word and enhance the ability of the body to worship Him
-Providing multiple ministry opportunities for body to utilize their gifts and abilities in worship ministry

Assist the Senior Pastor in the member care responsibilities through;
-Providing counseling /discipleship as requested
-Nurturing his own spiritual life through the spiritual disciplines of prayer & Bible study and by maintaining a healthy balance between family and ministry
-Sharing of the pastoral spiritual leadership responsibilities as directed by the Senior Pastor
