Harvest Pointe Community Church has been placed in Jefferson County to do more that just exist. We have a calling from our leader, Jesus Christ, to fulfill in this place and at this time. We express this calling through our mission, vision, goal, and strategy.
OUR MISSION: Our mission is to make disciples of all nations in order to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20)
OUR VISION: Our vision is to love God and love our neighbors as commanded by Jesus Christ in the Great Commandment. (Matthew 22:37-39)
OUR GOAL: Our goal is to expand our missional footprint through planting at least one church locally and one globally by 2015.

-GATHER corporately for celebration and teaching,
-GROW spiritually through community,

The Generations Director is responsible for recruiting and developing leaders to implement the family ministry mission and strategy at Harvest Pointe and for facilitating the partnership between the church and parents.
GOALS OF THE GENERATIONS DIRECTOR (WHAT DOES A WIN LOOK LIKE?)
-The Generations Director is recognized as the visible leader of the ministry with kids, students and families at the church.
-Harvest Pointe is offering quality G4 experiences for kids, students and families at the church (Community Groups, Celebration, Service,Family Baptism Class, Events, Family Service Opportunities, etc).
-Family ministry is playing a vital role in the overall church strategy for outreach to the community.
-Family ministry coordinators feel cared for, equipped, and connected to the Generations Director.
-Every family ministry leader is cared for, equipped, and served by a coordinator.
-New contributors are added to the family ministries team on a consistent basis.
-New families receive personal attention to help them feel welcome and to get connected.
-Operational systems and procedures are running smoothly to support the G4 experiences.
-Family ministry environments are safe, kid-focused, and inviting.
-Family ministry is operating within the approved budget.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE GENERATIONS DIRECTOR
-Commitment to Harvest Pointe’s philosophy of ministry and mission.
-Commitment to helping families raise growing G4 Christ followers.
-Commitment to personally moving towards maturity in the G4's: Gather, Grow, Give, Go.
-Experience in developing and training adult leaders.
-Experience in leading and working with children and students.
-Meets the qualifications of deacon found in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.
Annual salary for the position is $35,000. In addition to the salary, the church would provide $1,050 for retirement (3% of salary), $1,750 for reimbursable expenses (5% of salary), and $2,625 for health insurance (7.5% of salary).
