The Position

Whittier Area Community Church (WACC) is searching for a gifted individual, who is passionate about creating videos of varied styles, to fill the full-time position of Video Producer. This person will serve within the Technical Arts Ministry and be responsible for regularly developing and producing video-based media for use in church services, special events, and to provide support to the ministries of the church. An ancillary responsibility is to assist the Technical Arts Pastor and Team by providing Audio/Visual support to Sunday morning worship service productions.


The Technical Arts Ministry at WACC interacts with a number of different individuals from various ministries, so a candidate must possess strong gifts in organization and enjoy collaboration. He or she must also possess keen attention to detail and have the ability to receive and give constructive critiques. A candidate must have the ability to balance a project’s creative and visual requirements with schedules, budget and staff limitations.

Candidates must possess a solid background in video production that includes a strong understanding of current tools for Digital Videography (DSLR shooting, Lighting, Audio Recording), as well as proficiency in post production software such as Final Cut Pro and After Effects. Graphic design skills are also key. He or she must also possess good time-management, organizational and leadership skills, and be a strong problem solver who is able to keep a high design standard in all projects. An ideal candidate is a good team player, willing to work with different ministry teams when needed, but also able to work productively on his or her own.

Compensation and Benefits
