Job Description Summary:
The Children’s Ministry Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and “anticipatory thinking” for the Children’s Ministry Director and Department. This position reports to the Director of Children’s Ministry. This is a part-time (30hr/week), hourly position with benefits.

Specific Responsibilities:
• General Office Duties:
o Provide general administrative help including but not limited to: scheduling appointments and meetings, filling out forms, making copies, running errands, returning phone calls, emails and writing letters and other correspondence as requested. Process purchase orders and check requests.
o Maintain CM Office supplies and organization.
o Periodically review assigned ministry web pages and send content edits to Communications Project Manager.
o Ministry Liaison Assistance – assist Director with correspondence and scheduling of assigned ministries.
• Department Needs:
o Maintain Fellowship One Database information for our families and children.
o Maintain classrooms – supplies and organization.
o Maintain CM Resource Room – supplies and organization.
o Maintain Sunday School and “Family Time” curriculum and assist with sorting and organization as needed.
o AWANA – assist with program supplies and needs.
o Special Events – Help with such events as Summer Camps, Family Derby Night, Thanksgiving Baskets, Awana awards and the like.
• Hours Of Availability:
o Available to work two weekends per month (Saturday evening & Sunday morning) or as needed.
o Able to work until 9pm on Wednesday evenings. All other hours to be negotiated.
• Additional Responsibilities:
o Attend all required staff meetings (CM Staff Meetings 3x per month, Weekly Staff “Kudos & Prayer” 3x per month, Monthly CCC All Staff, Annual Retreat, etc.).
o Assume responsibilities within Children’s Ministries as they become appropriate.
o Keep regular office hours (as much as possible).
