Staff Relationship

• Accountable to the High School Pastor, Matt Fogle, who will supervise, encourage and evaluate the entire internship
• Must be loyal to the CCC and multi-site staff
• Have a deep commitment to being a team player and team builder.

• Be available to serve and learn in any area needed in the High School Ministry Department, with an open mind to other

• Interns should be working towards a degree or have a degree in ministry where the experiences received during the
internship helps assist student in growing in their desired passions and ministry area.

Principal Duties

• To assist the High School Ministry with the ministries that they are involved in. This means that you will be open to serve
where you are needed, knowing that this is an opportunity to learn and get a wide variety of ministry experience.

Specific Responsibilities
• Attend staff Meetings Weekly.
• Attend weekly Family Life Team Meetings.
• Assist in planning special events with the high school ministry team (example: Conferences, Retreats, Missions, multi-site
planning, and events throughout the year).
• Office Time: Monday-Thursday 9:00-5:00, Sunday: 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Additional hours will be required for special events.
• Communicate to and report to Matt Fogle.
• Help wherever necessary in regards to weekly programs. This may include leading a discussion group each week,
speaking when needed, greeting, administrative details, etc.
• Assist team in administrative work including communication, planning events and trips, routine office duties, etc.
• Work with student serving and leadership team in building an understanding of student-led ministry while encouraging
them in their new efforts.
• Meet with students regularly for recreation, counseling, etc.
• Personally be involved with the discipleship and evangelism of our student body.
• Practice a daily quiet time with the Lord.
• Commit to the daily habit of prayer and worship.
• Increase my knowledge of the living Word of God throughout my life for it is my food.
