Job Description:
Position Description: Director of Worship – Clarks Summit Campus
Primary Function
The Director of Worship is primarily responsible for overseeing the worship experience at one Parker Hill Campus. The ideal candidate must be musically qualified, creative, experienced in contemporary worship, and a skilled public communicator

Accountable To:
Dual Reporting Relationship: In role as Director of Worship & Media, report to Beverly Coleman - Director (Adult Worship & Large Groups). In role as Associate Pastor, report to Mark Fitch – Pastor (Adult Ministry Team Leader). Email Resume to worshipandmediapastor@parkerhill.org
Primary Duties:
1. Worship Design Team (3 hrs / week)
• Evaluation of previous weekend service
• Sermon series planning
• Big Idea development
• Creative elements
• Song selection
2. Rehearsal (5 hrs/week)
• Learn music
• Prepare rehearsal notes
• Lead rehearsal
3. Weekend Worship (6-10 hrs / week – 10 hrs when taking turns leading Saturday night service)
• Lead rehearsal and worship
• Coordinate with media techs and/or producer
4. Musician and Band Development
Secondary Duties:
1. Assist as needed with worship requirements outside the weekend worship services (Examples: Member Meetings, Funerals, Weddings, Baptisms Retreats, Training Events)
2. Function as an active team member of the adult division
3. Assist in providing pastoral care when necessary (hospital, weddings, funerals, etc)

Qualifications:
1. Meet the qualifications for spiritual leadership as stated in PHCC constitution
2. Experienced in leading contemporary worship
3. Possess effective public communication skills
4. Proficient in playing piano and/or guitar
5. Ability to recruit and train musicians and worship team members
6. Basic computer skills – MS Office, Planning Center Online

Hours:
• Part Time (22.5 hours / week – minimum). Can be combined with Director of Presentation Media
Compensation:
• To be determined by the Leadership Team. Salary will be based on current wage scales for similar positions in similar size churches


Position Description: Director of Presentation Media
Primary Function
The Director of Presentation Media is primarily responsible for the creation, duplication, and archiving of all presentation media for use in adult ministry environments

Accountable To:
Beverly Coleman, Director of Adult Worship & Large Groups. Email Resume to worshipandmediapastor@parkerhill.org
Primary Duties:
1. Visual media creation and editing (DVD authoring, encoding, duplication, audio recording, camera, lighting, editing, graphic effects, etc.)
2. Contribute to weekly production flow as schedule and priorities dictate
3. Provide technical and creative support and expertise for video authoring, live and studio recording, mixing and sound reinforcement and duplication
4. Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical expertise for video room, equipment upkeep, operation, and upgrade
5. Provide production support and training for staff and volunteer video techs
6. Upload messages & videos to website and other social media (facebook, vimeo, etc)
7. Archive videos & media

1. Assist as needed with presentation media requirements outside the weekend worship services (Examples: Member Meetings, Funerals, Weddings, Baptisms Retreats, Training Events)
2. Function as an active team member of the adult division

Qualifications:
1. Versatility of skills and knowledge in a video/multimedia production environment
2. Excellent ability to handle details and deadlines
3. Possess clear communication skills both written and verbal
4. Be competent in use of video / audio technology
5. Have high competency in computer based multimedia technology including Final Cut Pro, Adobe CS, Apple Logic
