New Hope Community Church is ready to hire someone who is passionate and committed to leading and directing young children to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
As Children’s Director you will be responsible for creating and implementing an exciting new children’s program that is relevant, high-energy, and attractive to young families. Your ability to recruit and equip effective leaders will be crucial to the long term success of the ministry. We are looking for someone with creative ideas that will focus on where Children’s ministry is going, not on where it’s been. You must also be able to work in a staff environment, have flexibility, and be a team player. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, having a clear vision for children’s ministry.
Additionally, New Hope currently serves our members and community with a ministry for families who have children with special needs. The Children’s Director must have a heart for this ministry and will be given an assistant who will help coordinate this program.
Personal Faith – Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
User-Friendly – Have a contagious personality that people love to be around.
Outreach Oriented – Install programs that encourage children to bring their friends.
Empowering – No lone rangers needed. Must be able to recruit and develop leaders.
Cutting Edge – Create an exciting, modern, high-impact ministry that kids will want to be a part of.
Culturally Aware – Recognizes the trends of families in our culture, with an understanding of how to support the needs of families from a biblical perspective.
Vision Casting – Have a clear vision in place with the ability to motivate people to action.
Communication – Must be able to articulate your needs to leadership and be an engaging communicator in your ministry.
Experience – Have at least 3 years experience in Children’s ministry.
