Clinically trained professional with graduate degree sought to equip our church in engaging individuals and families during relational crises. Experience in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and navigating the legal implications of ministering to those in need desired. Complex decision-making and problem-solving skills essential along with the spiritual gifts of discernment and wisdom.
• Assisting our Elder Response Team and Pastoral Care Team with congregational shepherding needs related to emotional and relational health
• Developing and overseeing a system for training and equipping staff, volunteers, and congregants in issues related to emotional health, pastoral care, pastoral presence, and engaging others in times of need
• Developing and overseeing support groups, including higher-risk groups for issues of abuse and sexual brokenness
• Establishing and maintaining procedures to promote emotionally and relationally safe ministry environments on all WCCC campuses
