Glossary of terms:
E4 – The E4 Life Transformation Strategy: Encounter, Establish, Equip, and Engage. Empowered for supernatural living, E4 represents what God wants to happen in the life of a follower of Christ in fuller and fuller measure. E4 is not about church growth; it's about people growth. It is about transformation in the life of an individual, with the Church serving as a catalyst for such growth. E4 is the Church serving God's purpose in the individual, not the individual serving God's purpose in the Church. E4 is about creating an environment and the kind of hunger that calls out for God to do in us what we cannot do by ourselves. It's inviting God to pour out the requisite grace and power so we can step into that which we could not be or do before.
E–Zone – Team of directors and pastors that oversee all adult and care ministries at Northwoods Community Church

Encounter – Luke 4:18-19
Encountering Jesus in the fullness of His love and power.
Supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ kindles life change in us.
Through intimate prayer, attentiveness to His Word, sensitivity to His personal promptings and vibrant worship, both personally and corporately, we encounter Jesus in His love and power. As we do, He heals our emotional and physical wounds. He delivers us from oppressive habits. He comforts us, encourages us, counsels us, guides us, and anoints us for life-giving ministry. As we encounter Christ in the depths of our being, we are increasingly transformed into the people He wants us to be.
