Job Description:
Pinehurst United Methodist Church seeks an energetic candidate with a passion for learning and educating children of all ages. The right candidate will provide leadership and direction in developing a vibrant student (birth through college) and family ministry program that will contribute to the church’s spiritual growth. Other responsibilities include directing and supervising students, lay ministers and volunteers in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of all student-related programs. Programs include the areas of education, worship, outreach, service, fellowship, sports, and recreation. These ministries should provide opportunities through which students and families are nurtured in their faith and in Christian beliefs and learn to apply that faith to all areas of their lives. This is a full-time position.

Candidate should have a Master of Divinity or a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Christian Education or a four-year degree and Certification in Youth Ministry as well as experience (3-5 years minimum) in planning and coordinating student program ministries. Candidate should be able to work well as part of a staff and volunteer team, and have strong leadership, organization, communication and basic computer skills.
