Job Description:
Northbrook Church is a 27 year old Non-Denominational Church with and average weekend attendance of 1,400 located in Richfield Wisconsin. Richfield is a beautiful suburban/rural area located 25 miles north of downtown Milwaukee. Two years ago the founding Pastor of Northbrook resigned to pursue an international ministry. The new Pastor has brought fresh vision and has spent the last year a half working with the staff to develop a new ministry model. As a result Nortbrook has been developing a philosophy of ministry based on simplicity and three major areas described by the words “Discover”, “Grow” and “Share” and the mission of “making compelling followers of Christ”.

This fall the Northbrook team will launch its new ministry paradigm based on “Discover”, “Grow” and “Share”. This paradigm will include:

A calender year based on 3 seasons
Groups based model of ministry
Total rebranding
Addition of a 4th Service to accommodate growth (Over the last 2 years Northbrook has gone from a declining church to seeing 25% growth

This process has also revealed to us the need to create a new position. The “Pastor of Connection” will help Nortbhrook fulfill its mission of “making compelling followers of Christ” by assimilating and connecting newcomers to the life of the church. This position also will serve as a coach to the men’s Life Groups.
