Job Description:
Christ Church is committed to biblically based teaching and focuses on who God is and how he is relevant for our lives. We are a non-denominational church that values loving God and loving others. As a growing church, we are seeking a mature adult with a suitable spiritual gift set for this position who demonstrates evidence of a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and who senses a calling to serve God and His children.

This Director position will oversee all aspects of the department including curriculum, programming, volunteer recruitment and training, and ministry development while contributing to the mission and vision of Christ Church. Key responsibilities include the oversight of weekend services for children age 3 through kindergarten, editing curriculum and preparation of various group materials, support of special family ministry events, communications including newsletters, promotional materials, etc., attendance in weekly department meetings, and managing department resources and budget.

Key ministry values include serving parents and families first, developing and sustaining a healthy team environment, nurturing lay leaders and keeping the children safe.

Position Requirements include strong team building skills, the ability to develop and lead others, a love for children and God, strong communication skills, strong organization and self-starter skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. Experience in creating communication and graphic materials is helpful. Experience in early childhood and/or primary education preferred. Spiritual gifts required are leadership, shepherding and administration.
