Christian not-for-profit is seeking an in-house IT/WEB individual for immediate full or part- time employment. A working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server 2003/2008, Exchange Server 2007, and site-to-site VPN is required; experience installing and testing Ethernet cabling desired.
The ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience in the IT field with an understanding of web hosting. At least one year of experience working within a medium to large-scale corporate network located in multiple buildings and locations is a plus.
Job duties include maintenance of existing computers, software and peripherals, as well as installation of future equipment. Good understanding of Mac and PC troubleshooting required including mobile devices (iPhone/Android), as well as familiarity with DNS, NAS devices, VMWare, backup solutions, routing/switching/firewalls and wireless systems.
The person chosen for this position must be able to work collaboratively with web development and database administration to actualize the full potential of an open architecture, ministry focused database that drives our website (Shelby ARENA). Experience with HTML/CSS, SQL, Visual Studio 2008 will provide an edge to a potential candidate. Collaboration with Audio/Video Technician also anticipated.
Full time employee will receive health insurance and benefits as part of salary package. Salary is commensurate to experience/hours. This position includes weekend hours for Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings and some weekday evening hours. Candidate must be suited to working in a fast paced, forward moving and adaptive environment that is rapidly growing and changing.
