Hillcrest Apostolic Church is seeking a new Senior Pastor. We are looking for the person God has challenged to help us accomplish our mission: "Our mission as Christ-followers is to passionately love God, love others, and present Christ in our world." Applicants should have a proven track record of preaching, developing leaders, building disciples, and shepherding. The ability to work collaboratively and oversee a multi-staff environment is important. Essential ministry experiences include vision casting, leading paid and volunteer staff, and ministry program development.

The primary duties of the Senior Pastor are:

Accountability for all ministries and activities at Hillcrest
Empower and give leadership to paid and volunteer staff
Work with the church board in the Carver governance model
Set and control the overall church budget
To cast a compelling vision on all levels within Hillcrest

Hillcrest is a healthy congregation of 300-350 located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. We are a multi-generational church with dynamic children’s, youth, women’s and seniors ministries. We are affiliated with the Apostolic Church of Pentecost Canada, but have a congregation of varied denominational backgrounds.


Professed faith in and relationship with Christ
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Demonstrated commitment to continual learning
Experience in multi-staff ministry setting
Demonstrated leadership capacity
Willingness to be credentialed with the ACOP
In agreement with the Hillcrest Apostolic statement of faith
Open to a long tenure with Hillcrest
