Job Description:
This position will serve as office administrator to several dynamic ministry teams, including report preparation, overseeing organization of database, assessment and implementation of state-of-the-art Church Management Software program (ChMS).
THIS IS NOT AN IT JOB.
Responsibilities:
•Point person for supporting two Ministry Leaders by providing administrative assistance, calendar management, managing e-mails, phone calls, correspondence, presentation preparation and meeting management
•Coordinates with IT team on projects to integrate database with other components of our technical systems (e.g. web site, children’s check-in system)
•Defines and documents database processes and protocols used across various ministries
•Monitors and maintains the integrity of the data and software by creating and running reports to locate data fields and missing information
•Develops and maintains current knowledge of best in class database management capabilities
•Proactively transfers knowledge to support staff through training, job aids, and tutorials
•Ensures the program files are updated on a regular basis
•Attends Training to become the ChMS on-site expert – then supports users
•Leads teams of volunteers on data entry and executes the quarterly process to purge outdated information
Qualifications:
~3-5 years of experience in administration.
~Requires experience working with Church Management Software and working knowledge of importing, merging, and exporting records, generating reports, etc.
~Knowledge of interfacing with Web Content a plus
~Good oral & written communication skills
~Strong analytical skills, people skills to work effectively with the different ministry leaders, staff, and personality styles.
