Are you a proven leader who has led a recovery ministry in the past?

Do you thrive on envisioning and leading others by communicating vision, creating infrastructure and systems to achieve ministry goals, and equipping/developing volunteer leaders?

Has your personal story been one of sustained recovery from an addiction or co-dependency?

Do you have strong communication and teaching abilities that come from an authentic place which inspires and leads people on the journey through brokenness towards recovery and wholeness?

Do others tell you that you are gifted at managing potentially high risk emotional and relational situations with great wisdom, compassion and discernment?

As the Director of Willow Creek Community Church’s new Recovery and Support Ministry, you will be the primary “voice” of recovery for the church, overseeing and implementing the large group portion of the Recovery program. In addition, you will oversee the envisioning, recruitment, development, training, shepherding and management of the Recovery and Support staff, group leaders, table facilitators, coaches, sponsors and other key volunteers. You will also be responsible for the development of systems, processes and procedures to insure Biblically sound, doctrinally aligned and emotionally healthy program content and experiences for all Recovery and Support communities. It is critical that this person has their own story and journey of sustained recovery from an addiction or co-dependency.
