Job Description:
Mercy Ministries of America, a Christian residential home for women, comprised of four U.S. homes, has an immediate opening at our St. Louis location.

Community Relations Manager
St. Louis Home

Education: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

Skills: Desired candidate will have effective communication skills, experience in event planning and coordination, and experience in public speaking. In addition, candidate should be detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated as well as be able to multi-task and prioritize and to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2000, Word, Excel and/or other computer software programs to include Internet and email.

Job Scope includes:
Local event planning and organization
Community relations
Volunteer coordination
Creating and managing local contacts
