In order to minister more effectively to our church family and surrounding community, Friends Community Church is seeking to add a highly gifted and highly motivated individual to our pastoral staff. This individual will be responsible for partnering with the lead pastor in overseeing all areas of church ministry.
The church is seeking an individual with the following experience:
-a Master’s level degree in a ministry related field
-at least five years of ministry leadership experience
The church is seeking an individual with the following qualifications:
-a dynamic and growing relationship with the Lord
-Christian character and maturity as described in 1 Timothy 3
-wisdom, compassion, and a good sense of humor
-a demonstrated commitment to the Kingdom of God through the local church
-an outstanding work ethic and servant mentality
-unity with the mission, values and vision of the leadership of FCC
-a shepherd’s heart for the people of FCC and surrounding community
-demonstrated ability to teach God’s Word in a variety of settings
-proven giftedness in leadership multiplication as evidenced by:
recruiting, equipping and encouraging volunteer and staff ministry leaders
effective organization and leadership of ministry teams and committees
establishing and reaching goals with tenacity and perseverance
This position involves a full-time commitment of 45-55 hours each week.

Friends Community Church is a Christ-centered, Bible teaching church as a part of the Evangelical Friends Church denomination. The people of this church have been ministering in the city of Brea since 2002. The church family is multi-generational with the largest percentage of people in the “young family” category.
