Associate Director of Children’s Ministries Position Opening

This full-time position will be a part of a vibrant, growing children’s ministry, and will be responsible for:

• Oversight of the ministry to children and their families in First-Third Grades as well as all children with special needs within the Sunday school program, Vacation Bible School, and Small Groups.
• Safety and security measures as well as communication/marketing component for the “Deep Worship” for children and families.
• “Home and Family Connection” which will include working with the children’s team to create and implement a “Parent Connect” newsletter, opportunities for parents to grow spiritually, and workshops that will assist parents in their role as the spiritual guides in their homes

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a passion for Christ and for children.
• Have experience working in Children’s Ministries.
• Possess a B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably with a Christian education or Elementary education background.
• Have the creative ability to plan and coordinate programs, to review, select, and write curriculum.
• Be able to supervise and delegate responsibilities with volunteers.
