Summary: Lead worship for Cokesbury’s worship celebrations at multiple campuses.
Assist the Director of Contemporary Worship in various aspects of contemporary worship music.
Please note - This position is a for a ROCK BASED contemporary worship service.

Lead worship at a Cokesbury campus each Sunday (North, West or South)
Lead worship at various Cokesbury worship venues including Celebrate Recovery service and other events as needed
Assist in coordinating teams of paid and unpaid servants at several campuses
Work in a team based environment on a “church wide” basis in regards to “series based” creative worship elements, and individual Sunday creative elements (music, videos, dramas, special guests, etc)
Assist the Director of Contemporary Worship as needed
-Engaging and contagious worship leading for various types of venues
-Skilled at leading with an instrument (Guitar or Keyboards) Not a vocalist only
-Chart preparation for all types of music (cc, rock, black gospel, etc.)
-Working knowledge of computers (Mac preferred) and software/web sites such as audio editing/sequencing software (Logic Pro or ProTools), Planningecenteronline, Word/Pages, etc.
-Leading a team of highly skilled paid and unpaid musicians and vocalists - including leading a vocal team rehearsal and a band rehearsal
-A working knowledge of live sound
-Organizational skills - emails, documents, deadlines, etc.
-Ability to adapt to multiple worship styles, music styles and venues
-Ability to work and contribute in a team based environment
Execution of engaging worship in a manner of excellence
Worship that works in partnership with creative elements
Team participation in worship planning
Growing unpaid servant base, growing paid servant base
Ministry that focuses on the 4 things - invite, engage, prepare, deploy
