POSITION SUMMARY: The Video Operations Manager is responsible for leading video operations for Worship Center. This includes: serving as technical director for weekend service broadcasts; leading the video team of volunteers for weekend services; building and/or training volunteer teams who provide video support throughout the ministry; and purchasing supplies and performing preventive and other needed video equipment maintenance. This person is also responsible for post-production of services to create DVD masters, archived files, and files for webcasting.
Education: Degree in broadcast production or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
Experience: Minimum two years experience in video broadcast in a large church setting required. Multi-projection and edge-blending system and broadcast/control room. Macintosh platform, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop. Previous management and supervisory experience is also required. Experience in video systems troubleshooting, repair, and installation required. A working knowledge of video post-production and broadcast lighting recommended.
