Job Description:

The Exchange Church is seeking a creative Worship Pastor/Director.

The church is less than 2 years old and located in Uptown Minneapolis. An area of young professionals, creatives and musicians. We are focused on reaching the 20-30's unchurched and dechurched living in Uptown. The average age of the church is 28 yrs old with many of the attendees new to church.

The Worship Pastor/Director will work with the Creative Team to plan services that reinforce the message through a variety of ways. His/Her primary responsibility is to lead the Worship Team, recruit team members, and develop them by casting the vision of the church and how they fit into it. Responsibility and an eye for detail is paramount as is a strong knowledge in non-Christian music and the ability to relate to the unchurched. A strong sense of adventure, risk-taking, and breaking the norms of conventional church is key to reaching Uptown.
