Job Description:

Apex United Methodist Church, which passionately worships with approximately 1,100 people each weekend with multiple formats in the fast growing Raleigh-Durham NC area, is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Student Ministries. The selected candidate must be a mature Christian with a clear sense of calling to help middle school and senior high students to mature to the full stature of Christ utilizing our Orange Family Ministries strategy. The Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of student ministries at Apex UMC and its faith communities including: Sunday night programming, Sunday school small groups, weekly small groups and special events; equipping parents to shape the faith formation of their children; evaluating and refining ministries; leading the monthly youth council and youth leader’s meetings; inviting adults to serve in student ministries; mobilizing students to serve in missions and in the church; being a part of the Discipleship and Family Ministries staff team to shape an age appropriate and consistent cradle to grave discipleship approach across the church.
