Job Description:
Mosaic's Pastor of Student Ministries

Purpose of Position:
This position exists to provide hands-on direction, execution and oversight for Mosaic’s Student Ministries, where diverse students from 6th through 12th grade are trained, equipped and challenged to walk, work and worship God together.

Specific Responsibilities/Duties:
1.) Provide general oversight of the overall student ministries leadership team and specific oversight of Junior & Senior High ministries
a. Communicates to MSM constituents as the department’s Director
b. Identify the needs and interests of students within the church and community
c. Plan and develop high quality programs/curriculum for the youth ministry
d. Oversee all Student programs
e. Evaluate existing programs to determine effectiveness
f. Identify and provide ministry opportunities for teens
g. Assess each student’s involvement and inspire escalation of that involvement
h. Regularly interact with students on their respective campuses
2.) Recruit volunteers and leaders as needed and provide regular orientation and training for Student Ministries volunteers and leaders
3.) Provide counseling and spiritual direction to teens on an individual basis as needed
4.) Lead all Student Ministries mission trips, service events and camps throughout the year
5.) Attend all Mosaic staff meetings and other staff related events
6.) Report Monthly on progress of key objectives to Executive Pastor
7.) Annually develop a Student Ministries Plan
