Job Description:

Objective: To oversee the spiritual and emotional needs of our church body; create systems to properly minister to our church; create opportunities for fellowship.

Main responsibilities:
- To oversee pastoral counseling and care
- Create and oversee visitation team
- Create and oversee church helps ministry
- Manage all of the needs from the Sunday connection cards
- Create a system to connect with MIA church members
- Oversee events team to create events for the purpose of fellowship within the body
- Create & implement periodic opportunities for church-wide fellowship
- Oversee and create CI Groups (these are nonspiritual groups focused on fellowship through common interests and hobbies)
- Work with the church administrators to oversee our database program, CCB

Must:
- Have a shepherd’s heart. This means that you are a people person and love being around people. You find that connecting with people is a natural gift and you really care about their welling being and can empathize when they are struggling.
- Have some pastoral experience and ideally some education in counseling.
- Be excellent in communication; in person, phone, and email
