Job Description:

Friends Community Church (member of Evangelical Friends Church Southwest) is looking for a part-time Worship Leader to help round out our music ministry. We are looking for someone with the heart and the passion to lead people in authentic worship. We're not big on ritual or routine ~~ we want a relationship with God ~~ and we want someone who can use the Worship Experience to help us develop that relationship. We are looking for someone with the ability to blend the best of the modern worship choruses with the greatest of the hymns to minister to everyone in our fellowship. We are looking for a competent musician (can lead from the piano or guitar) who also has basic computer skills ~~ we use Easy Worship as our presentation software ~~ and can work well with the musicians and singers we already have. Our first preference would be a music ministry student at Fresno Pacific University, Fresno State, or Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary.
