Job Description:

Primary Function: To obtain/develop curriculum, develop and train teachers/volunteers and utilize scheduling to provide child care to primary church functions

Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and supervise all ministry volunteers and leaders
Supervise ministry events and Sunday morning programming
Ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for children's ministry
Develop or obtain age appropriate material that facilitates the spiritual growth of children

Preferred Qualifications
Christian who demonstrates a high level of maturity and consistent walk with Christ
Demonstrate experience of effectiveness in organization and communication
Ability to work with people, build teams, initiate tasks and delegate responsibility
Strong interpersonal relational skills and positive conflict resolution
Endorse and support the leadership and vision of Cascade Church
Commitment to support the Lead and Executive Pastors

Essential Functions
Common
Available to work on Sundays
Oral and written communication with a variety of media
On-call crisis response 24/7
Work in various locations within the facility and community
Work for extended periods of time without a break and/or modified schedule to accommodate church needs

Specific
Have ability and desire to work with children and parents
Be able to work well with an assistant in implementing children's programs
