Job Description:
Director of Music/Worship Ministries

To provide leadership and oversight to the Red Rocks Fellowship worship ministry through the use of music, arts and technology to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, edify believers and worship God in spirit and truth.

Worship Leadership, Planning and Scheduling - Work with the Senior and Associate Pastors in planning and leadership of worship and music for Sunday Services, seeking alignment and connection with the theme of a given Sunday. Ensure proper use of CCLE and CVLI licenses. Select and purchase music as necessary. Participate in the monthly leadership team meetings.

Blended Worship: Facilitate and develop worship experiences that support the vision of blended worship that brings together diverse musical and art components. Lead congregational singing and develop others as leaders. Be responsible for finding appropriate replacement during any absences.

Praise Team: Lead and provide oversight to the volunteer praise teams(s) and participate in practive as needed each week. Be responsible for finding appropriate replacement during any absences.

Recruitment: Actively recruit volunteers to serve in music and other related worship ministries, including but not limited to: accompanists, prasie band, technology, hymn leading, choir and drama.

Special Services: Work with the Senior and Associate Pastors in planning and leading worship for special services to include (Christmas, Easter, Special cantatas, Hymn Sings, etc.)

- Can demonstrate a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Agrees with and supports the Red Rocks Fellowship Statement of Faith.
- Spiritually gifted and experienced in evangelical music and arts.
- Demonstrates the skills to personally lead the worship services, the praise teams, congregational singing and direct an ensemble or choir.
- Ability to recruit, motivate, train, and delegate tasks to volunteers.
- Instrumental and vocal skills to lead and coach others.
