Job Description:
Asbury Church in Middleton, WI is looking for our next Student Ministry Director!

Asbury’s student ministry has been blessed with faithful and bold leadership that has brought youth and families to Christ and changed lives. Now we’re searching for the person that God has prepared and gifted to take student ministries to the next level.

We have a full time opportunity in an exciting university town for someone to join our staff as Student Ministry Director. You will be inheriting an active high school program that has set kids on fire for Christ!

Asbury is a United Methodist church with a 48 year history and almost 1,000 members. You’ll be a staff leader and join a full time ministry staff that includes two clergy, Family and Children’s Ministry Director, and Worship Director.

We’re looking for someone with energy, drive, and an active relationship with Jesus Christ. The kids said they want someone who is: organized; easy to talk to (but not “preachy”); experienced; on their own faith walk; and an authority figure (lays down the rules, but still knows how to have fun.) The grown ups would add to that list someone who can: bring previous youth ministry experience; teach and lead classes and Bible studies; be a relatable role model; get kids excited about Christ; work with families and ministry teams; lead service ministry in the local community; and continue our life changing mission trips.
