Job Description:

First Baptist Church of Allentown is a mid-sized Conservative Baptist church (350 average weekly sunday morning worship service attendance) located in the suburbs of Allentown, PA with a multi-ethnic membership.

The church has both a contemporary and traditional service each Sunday morning, a core Sunday School program for children through adults, healthy Children's and Youth ministries, a strong missions emphasis and a growing helps ministry for those within the body.

The Senior Pastor will need to have strong preaching, teaching and shepherding skills. This individual will also need to be a confident leader who is willing to work with a team of gifted lay leaders, a Pastor of Family Ministries, a Children's Ministry Director and an Interim Youth Ministry Director.
