Job Description:

• A growing church of 2000+ in Battle Creek, MI.
• Purpose: to reach the lost and broken and bring them into a fully-devoted relationship with Jesus Christ
• Role: Worship Leader for our multi-site church plant called First Wes North
• First Wes North is a satellite campus of First Wes located 20 minutes north of our Helmer Road location
• Average attendance: 125 people
• It is our desire to see the quality and excellence of our Helmer Road campus replicated at each of our satellite campuses

Desired Skills
• A Biblical understanding of worship
• Proven worship-leading skills in a contemporary church setting
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Proficient abilities on guitar and/or piano
• Strong vocal ability
• Ability to work with vocalists (male & female)
• Ability to diagnose and fix musical problems in a rock band setting
• Ability to play comfortably with a click (metronome)
• Ability to write/produce chord charts
• Fundamental understanding of technical systems (sound, Mediashout)

• Reports to Site Pastor
• Influenced by First Wes Music Pastor
• Hours: 12 hours/ week
o Mid-week rehearsal
o Sunday Worship Services
o Administrative duties as required
• Compensation: $12,000 / year
