WORSHIP ARTS PASTOR

WHO WE ARE:
Centralia Community Church is committed to developing followers of Christ who passionately love, learn, and live out their faith! We currently have 2 Sunday services (Modern & Classic), averaging 575+ people weekly with well over 750 who consider us their church home. Centralia is a community of 25,000 located halfway between Seattle & Portland.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Worship Arts Pastor is responsible for leading, developing and overseeing all aspects of the worship ministry at Centralia Community Church.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
-A passion for the Lord and an actively growing relationship with Him
-A commitment to personal integrity and character (teachable & accountable)
-A calling and gifting from the Lord to lead worship
-A minimum of 5 years experience in leading worship with a band in a church of 250+
-A bachelor’s degree education level
-A team player who is committed to developing people and teams around oneself

ABILITIES & TALENTS:
-A skilled and gifted vocalist and instrumentalist who leads on guitar (preferable) or keyboard
-An energetic worship leader who is genuine and authentic in leading others
-A strong grasp of music mechanics; competent in chord charting, etc.
-Remains current with worship materials/trends and use of technology/media
-Able to provide key administrative oversight of people while also communicating well

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Lead worship for Modern Service(s); Lead or develop leadership for Classic Service
-Develop, train and lead current worship team members
-Recruit and raise up new worship team members (instrumentalists & vocalists)
-Coordinate and oversee technical ministry areas including audio/visual
-Work with Creative Team in developing worship plan to go with Sunday themes
-Manage worship budget and resources
-Take our worship ministry and overall worship experience to the next level!
