About us:We are a 5 year old church plant
that is experiencing explosive growth in a medium-sized community. We began with 80 people and we currently average 850-1,000. Our growth has not come from pulling people from other churches. We reached unchurched people in our community by emphasizing our motto that we are a “church for imperfect people.” Our Sunday gatherings are casual, energetic,
and intentionally programmed to break down barriers with people who might be reluctant and/or fearful to attend a church service. We do not call ourselves a “seeker church,” instead we describe our environment as “authentic.” We don’t water down the Bible’s message, but we don’t hide our own shortcomings by refusing to address real problems that plague real people.We’ve just moved
into a renovated warehouse as our permanent location (after 5 years of being mobile). Our Sunday gatherings feature great music (both mainstream and modern worship). If you’re uncomfortable with the idea of incorporating songs by John Mayer, 3 Doors Down, Michael Jackson, or Lady Antebellum alongside of songs by Hillsong, DecemberRadio, and Third Day, then this position probably isn’t for you. We use unique stage design, lighting, and multi-screen projection to aesthetically complement the music set every week. About you:We’re looking for someone who first and foremost wants to be a part of a church
that genuinely focuses on reaching unchurched people. We already have a team of excellent volunteer musicians, vocalists, and sound techs in place
. We need someone who can oversee the "look" of Valley. We want someone who can lead from electric, acoustic or rythm guitar. We're not about perfection, but we're big on excellence.
That means that you also need to be someone who is professional in your communication and presentation. Is this is you?

We have a full-time staff of five people along with some part-time support staff. We don't run a "corporate" style office. We're much more like a big family. That doesn't mean that we don't work hard and have organized systems--it just means that you don't have to punch a clock or wear a tie.About the position:
