Serve on the SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM (SLT) with the other Directors:
- Meet weekly with the SLT to help set strategy and make “big picture” decisions for the church.
- Provide information necessary for key decisions to the SLT and Council.
- Be supportive and respectful to the Senior Pastor, the SLT, and stay faithful to Christ Church’s vision, values and mission.
- Serve on the Council as a member of the SLT to help address concerns of Small Groups, Discipleship, Volunteer support, and Frontline Ministries

Small Groups / Adult Discipleship Coordinator:
- Administrate a total system of small group and class development
- Lead by modeling and mentoring
- Recruit, schedule and supervise small group leaders and class facilitators
- Coordinate the ALPHA program as an outreach to the community and a process of “first steps” into group or community life, not as “discipleship” or ‘Bible Basics”
- Communicate with leaders and facilitators to keep clarity of calendaring and potential church-wide initiatives
- Ongoing training, support, screening and development of new leaders
- Coordinate a system of consistent advertising and updating for available groups and classes with the communications personell
- Shepherd and mentor leaders and facilitators to keep a pulse with the health of their groups and classes
- Create an accessible interface through Fellowship One to allow group and class leaders to update rosters, attendance and communiqués
- Monitor the tracking of attendance, rosters and pastoral care needs of group/classes
- Meet regularly with leaders for training and support
- Preview and review curriculum, keep aware of theological or doctrinal aberrations not in accordance with the teachings of historic Christianity or the affirmations of Christ Church
- Purchase and distribute resources and curriculum
- Catalogue materials on hand and resell, donate or redistribute inventory that has accumulated
- Oversee long and short-term events such as Financial Peace and LMS
- Champion creating a climate where “every member is in a group”

Volunteer Coordinator:
- Administrate a system of “Connecting” constituents to areas of service in ministry and assimilating them through the 101-401 Membership Process
- Familiarity with the Skyline Wesleyan, Saddleback or similar model of 101-401 Membership
- Create a process of tracking and communication to help connect every member to ministry and help move constituents to membership and deeper discipleship
- Ongoing training, support, screening and development of new team members
- Shepherding individuals and families from a point of “visitor” to: frequent worshipper, regular attendee, growing disciple, serving member and outward reaching follower of Jesus.
- Utilize Fellowship One to track and communicate with constituent in their process and place of growth in Christ Church
- Coordinate Meet the Pastor Informational Events
- Schedule and coordinate frequent Membership 101 Opportunities
- Track and communicate with constituents as they express interest in membership or baptism and continue to follow their progress through the process
- Familiarity with the tools and resources for the S.H.A.P.E.S. method of finding and discovering you gifts and purpose (new curriculum by Eric Rees of Saddleback) in order to lead and coordinate 201 class
- Recruit and train leaders to conduct 301 and 401 class experiences
- Champion creating a climate where “membership is valued and every member is in ministry”

Front Line Ministries Coordinator:
- Administrate a system of interlocking “First Impression” teams
- Recruit, schedule and supervise team coordinators, leaders or lay volunteers for the Guest Services, Greeters, Coffee and Parking Lot Teams
- Communicate with group leaders team members to keep clarity of calendaring and potential church-wide initiatives or large events
- Ongoing training, support, screening and development of new team members
- Shepherd leaders to keep a pulse with the health of their ministry teams
- Manage an access point and interface through Fellowship One to allow team leaders to update rosters, attendance, schedules and communiqués
- Track participation in respective ministry areas to be aware of needs for volunteers and specific recruiting requests to be passed on to communications
- Meet regularly with leaders for training and support
- Inventory and purchase and keep organized supplies and upkeep for Coffee, “First-Time Visitor” Gift/Communications, Guest Sevices and Parking Lot Ministry Teams
- Semi-Annual appreciation and recognition for team members
- Champion creating a climate where “everyone serves once a week”

Requisite Qualifications and Skills:
- Education – Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- Possess exceptional oral and written skills.
- A personal experience of conversion and commitment to Jesus Christ.
- Proven experience in related ministry.
- Ability to recruit and supervise volunteer teams, as well as paid staff positions.
- Excellent communication skills with staff as well as volunteers. To include: computer, technical, written and verbal.
- Maturity in emotional/spiritual judgment and demeanor in the conduct of duties.
- Maintenance of the highest Christian standards in personal and professional life.
- Compassionate and nurturing personality, along with enthusiasm and high energy.
- Organized, maintain confidentiality, be self-motivated, and a team player.
- Must be willing to meet minimum membership requirements by completing Membership Class 101 within one year of hire.
