Job Description:
Worship Leader and Director

Grace United Methodist Church of Washington Court House Ohio is located on the corner of Market and N. North Streets, its home since 1817. The congregation currently worships in a beautifully designed building (the fifth on this site) dedicated in December 1961. Presently there are two Sunday morning worship experiences, a casual service with 50 to 70 participants and a traditional service with 200 to 250 faithful congregants enjoying the classical sounds of a pipe organ, traditional hymns, and a 25-member chancel choir, held in a beautiful, contemporary stone and stained-glassed sanctuary.

Grace Church has embarked on a season of prayer, reflection and discernment as we have sought God’s will for the church in today’s context. Based upon this process, the church has determined that, in addition to the present worship experiences, a new contemporary worship experience needs to be offered in order to reach a segment of the community that is un-churched or nominally churched. It is with this in mind that we seek a God-called and gifted musician to develop, implement, and lead this exciting, new contemporary worship service.

Please forward your resume, references and Demo to the Director of Human Resources at or 301 E. Market Street, Washington Court House, OH 43160.
