Job Description:

Looking for a seasoned youth pastor to oversee staff and volunteer teams who minister to JH/SH students, including transitions from 6th grade and HS graduates. Please ONLY APPLY if you have paid experience serving in a church ministry of 1,000+. This position requires gifts, skills and experience in the oversight of a sizable and growing ministry. This includes ensuring advanced planning, coordination, communication and oversight for each aspect of ministry. Appropriate delegation to leaders and ministry teams is expected. This pastor will utilize existing ministries and create new ministries to close existing gaps. A spirit of continual learning and exploration of new models and concepts to remain effective in evangelism and discipleship is desired. A strong background/training and demonstrated skills in student issues, family dynamics and student culture, along with an ability to interact on parenting skills/concerns and issues is a must. Lastly, a fun and playful spirit combined with a passion for intentional ministry is a major plus.
