Full charge bookkeeper to maintain bookkeeping, accounting and auditing records of the church business office.
Responsible for accounts payable, insurance verification, receipt of W-9s, bank deposits and reconciliations, payroll, budget development and tracking, preparation of reports such as P&L, trial balance, month-end and year end closing entries, audit reports, 1099s.
High school diploma, 3-5 years of solid bookkeeping experience, proficiency in use of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheets. Careful, orderly, detail oriented, discreet, trustworthy, good communication skills, strong aptitude for numbers.
