Job Description:

God has done wonderful things at Water’s Edge Bible Church and we are excited to see what God has for our future. We are seeking our next Senior Pastor to lead us forward and build on the foundation that God has set here. As a devoted follower of Christ, the right candidate communicates the relevance of God's word for today, and is a strong leader with a passion for the lost, regardless of where they are. Gifted in vision, leadership and communication, he has earned an MDiv or ThM, and has a minimum of 5 years ministry experience. WEBC is a diverse, multi-generational church of roughly 250 attendees who seek to attract people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Position Requirements:

• Have either a MDiv or ThM

• 5+ years professional ministry experience

• Experience in leadership and ministry development; Senior Pastor experience a definite plus

• Meet the Biblical requirements of an elder

• Personally growing in Christ

Other desirables:

• Spiritual gifts of leadership, teaching, shepherding, discernment and wisdom

• Able to cast a vision and excite others to join in that vision

• Exhibits Christ’s love for people and is able to interact well with people of various social and church backgrounds

• Able to develop leadership abilities in others

• Humble understanding of God’s grace
