Highland Community Church of Ault and Highland Community Church of Nunn, separated by nine miles, are sister churches operate under very similar constitutions and by-laws, share a pastor/teaching elder yet remain distinct individually and financially.
The Nunn ministry is 17 years old and the Ault is over 100 years old. The churches serve three communities with surrounding agricultural/rural area totaling approximately 4500 people. They are located 90 minutes north of Denver and 30 minutes from the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The two facilities can seat around 200 collectively. We currently have two Sunday morning worship services that are blended with both praise choruses and hymns with average attendance of 60. The Ault church has an older three-bedroom two-bath parsonage available. The current ministries include: Children’s Sunday school, Home groups, Women’s Bible studies and Community Outreach ministries.
We are in need of a pastor/teaching elder with a rural/agricultural background that desires to be pastor, chaplain, and missionary to these rural agricultural and bedroom communities. This man must have a sincere belief in and love for the Lord Jesus Christ, a genuine love for people, and a strong desire to permeate these rural communities and surrounding areas with the Gospel. The position could be bi vocational. A seminary education or the equivalent and at least 3 years ministry experience is desirable.
