Job Description:
Salem Evangelical Free Church is looking for an excellent Youth Pastor to lead a vibrant and established Youth Ministry. For the past two decades Salem has had two Youth Pastors who have laid a strong biblical and philosophical foundation for ministry to the Jr. High and High School youth of Fargo/Moorhead. The Youth Ministry has over 100 students and 20 committed college-aged and adult volunteers. The next Youth Pastor will have an incredible opportunity to build on this foundation. Salem is a growing church of over 700 in a metro area of over 195,000. Currently the staff includes a Sr. Pastor, Pastor of Adult Discipleship, Pastor of Children Discipleship and a Worship Pastor. There are over 17,000 college students in the metro area. The church has purchased 9 acres of land and has raised over one million in a relocation project. God is at work in Fargo/Moorhead and we are looking for a great addition to the pastoral staff to join us to follow Jesus and proclaim the Gospel to the area and the world.

The Youth Pastor will help fulfill the mission of Salem Evangelical Free Church by providing point leadership for the ministry to the 7th through 12th grade students and their parents. This includes equipping and encouraging the adult volunteers who serve in this ministry.
This ministry will equip and motivate the students to passionately followJesus and live out the Gospel resulting in life-transformation in the lives of all involved and a joyful desire to reach the local area and the world with the Gospel.
