Student Ministry & Teaching Pastor

Spring Branch Community Church is seeking a Student Ministry/Teaching Pastor to join its high caliber leadership team. We are a growing Willow Creek Association Church 5 miles from the oceanfront in Virginia Beach. We have a firm belief as a staff to have the right people, in the right seat, on the right bus.

The right person in this seat would lead ministry from Middle School through Young Adults with vision and passion for students regardless of where they land on the spiritual spectrum.

The right person must be living an emotionally healthy life that is passionate for Jesus Christ and reaching the world through the local church.

The right person must be an authentically biblical and relational communicator, who can be relevant and challenging in both a student and adult arena.

The right person must be an equipping leader who has a passion for developing students and adults for their right seat on the bus.

Background Requirements:
This seat requires the right person to be experienced, educated, and humble; ready to be stretched in a service oriented environment. The right person will also have leadership experience with a high caliber team, the ability to communicate with excellence, and have lifetime-learning mentality. A Bachelors degree or higher in related field is required.
