The successful candidate will:

- Love children and ahve a passion to see them grow in Christ and a desire to see them come to a saving faith in Him.
- Have the ability to cast the vision to the children's dpeartment staff and volunteers.
- Have the confidence and the ability to recruit, train, and supervise a large constituency of volunteers.
- Be committed to excellence in every area of children's ministry.
- Have the ability to teach Biblical truth in a fun and relevant way.
- Be able merge the children's ministry with the vision of the overall church.
