Job Description:
Dublin Baptist Church has an exciting opportunity for a Minister of Students to join our pastoral staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, coordinating, and administering an effective Student Ministry from 6th grade through college. This person will be responsible for outreach and connecting with youth, providing them with fellowship, discipleship, and spiritual growth while overseeing high-energy services, worship and Bible studies. This person must be a team player willing to work with other pastors and current ministries. This person must be an effective communicator and be able to handle multiple priorities successfully while ministering, shepherding, and providing pastoral care to students, their families, and youth workers.

Education: college degree, 5 + years current youth experience, seminary and counseling skills a plus

- Self-motivated, teachable, servant leader, that is flexible and is strong in organizational and planning skills
- Love for the un-churched

Expectations:
- This person will direct the Student Ministry of the church.
- This person will visit students and their families on a regular basis through contact work on school campuses, sporting events or extra-curricular activities, recreational activities and home visits.
- This person will be available to counsel students and their families in the problem areas unique to this age group, to the best of his ability and training or refer to appropriate professional counsel.
- This person will be responsible for developing a diverse ministry that focuses on evangelizing the students of our community and then discipling them.
- This person will work to develop a vision and purpose that is unique to student ministry while upholding and supporting the overall vision and purpose of the church.
- This person will strive to make the program exciting and attractive to students while promoting and maintaining Christian principles.

Accountability:
- Understands the authority of Scripture and is obedient and accountable to God as revealed in the Bible
- Willing to lead or be involved in a men''s small group
