Hope Community, a 3 year-old church plant in south Reno, is seeking a full-time Children’s Ministry Pastor/Director. With over 400 people attending services each week, our church has moved into our own 10,000 square foot space that supports up to 300 adults, 100 children and 40 youth at each of our services. To prepare for this growth we are looking to hire a gifted and called director in the area of Children’s Ministry.

Hope Community is best explained by the phrase: “no perfect people allowed.” Our church creates an atmosphere that is inviting to the unchurched and those who carry “baggage” from past church experiences. Hope Community celebrates the comfort that people have to investigate Christ at their own pace. After two years, the church has grown 250% and people are experiencing authentic and lasting transformation.

The Children’s Ministry Director will assume responsibility for all programs from birth through 5th grade which include (but are not limited to): Sunday school, mid-week, summer camps, retreats, and special events. The desired candidate will possess a proven track record of loving children, recruiting teams, duplicating leadership and reaching unchurched families. We’re looking to establish a dynamic Children’s Ministry in south Reno.
