Living Bridge Community Church is a new, non-denominational church located just North of Pittsburgh in the growing city of Gibsonia PA. Our mission is to "Change the Way People think about Church" by actually being the church. For more about who we are and what we believe visit our website at

For a church just reaching five months of age, Living Bridge has seen tremendous blessing with an average weekly attendance of 150 people and growing. We believe God is preparing the way for His church to rise up in a community that is in need of the hope and truth that is Christ.

Living Bridge meets at the Pine-Richland Youth Center in Gibsonia, which is in itself a huge God thing! We could not have asked for a more centralized location with immediate and continuous people exposure. Youth ministry has been a priority since day one, and we currently have a core group of about 30 teens. We feel that hiring God's chosen leader is key to our mission.

We realize we are asking for a lot, but we also realize we serve the God of a lot. As you can see we are looking for someone to fulfill the dual role of youth and music with a primary focus on youth. The music ministry at Living Bridge is growing and we recently went from 1 to 2 small revolving teams. There is much potential here as well. Our ideal candidate would have expereince serving the church in the area of youth and music, a college degree, and be able to meet most if not all of the requirements below. Being married is a plus! The position as offered is a full-time paid position with benefits; however please note that if you have a family of 6 and are the sole bread winner this might not be your ship coming in. However, if you desire to be at a place that will take care of you, and where you will see life-change and growth on a regular basis, this could be the place for you!

YOUTH - Requirements & Character
Must be a disciple of Christ with the goal of making disciples; able to, or willing to learn to relate to students in the Western PA culture; self motivator; teachable, personable; real; fun; enjoys athletics; sees moral integrity and character as a high priority.

Major Responsibilities & Goals
• Serve, shepherd, and build relationships with the youth and their families at LB
• Lead a strategic weekly youth function that will both attract youth and keep them. (Aspects of this function might include: games, music, a relevant talk, etc)
• Provide a weekly opportunity for students to grow in their faith through Bible studies or a discipleship/mentoring program.
• Plan at least 1 “extra” activity each month for students to participate in. This could be a day trip, evening fellowship, get-together, prayer time, etc.
• Coordinate, plan, and lead at least 2 spiritual growth retreats each year.
• Develop and appoint volunteer youth leaders and workers to help in leading the ministry.
• Work to build a relationship with the PRYC and come up with strategies of partnering with them and serving our community through them.
• Work to instill a “mission minded youth group” that strives to serve others as opportunities arise.
• Meet with the Pastor at TBD meeting times each month.
• Being open to other responsibilities and goals that develop as Living Bridge grows.

MUSIC - Requirements & Character
Must be a worshipper who leads worship; skilled as a vocalist and instrumentalist; one who sees worship beyond music; self motivator; teachable, personable; real; sees moral integrity and character as a high priority; is gifted in leading worship in the style of Hillsong United, David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Paul Baloche, and Lincoln Brewster.

Major Responsibilities & Goals
• Work in coordination w the lead pastor to grow and develop the worship ministry at LB.
• Work with the lead pastor in producing Sunday services that allow environments for life-change to take place through various elements & avenues of worship.
• Lead out in worship on Sunday’s or help in implementing who does.
• Develop and implement a technical arts ministry that leads out in worship through the use of the audio and visual arts.
• Recruiting and Training worship and arts leaders for both current and future ministry opportunities.
• Encouraging growth both spiritually and musically to those leading within the worship arts ministry.
• Meet with the Pastor at TBD meeting times each month.
• Being open to other responsibilities and goals that develop as Living Bridge grows.
