Job Description:

Fellowship Bible Church (FBC), a nondenominational church located near Cleveland, Ohio is searching for a Pastor of Spiritual Formation (PSF). This position will direct all adult ministry areas including but not limited to Small Groups, Discipleship/Equipping and Assimilation. PSF responsibilities include providing counseling, encouragement, prayer, support, and visitation, as well as ministering in weddings and funerals as needed. The PSF will participate in the on-going development of small group ministry including recruiting and training small group leaders and will preach approximately six Sundays annually. The PSF will further enable the vision set forth by the Elder Board as directed by the Executive Pastor and the Senior Pastor.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Servant’s heart, with a visible, growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Process oriented, organized and pragmatic
• Critical and strategic thinker
• Ability to teach others in large or small group settings
• Articulation and communication skills in a variety of settings
• Experience working in complex organizations where people and systems combine to create highly adaptive environments and self-directing teams that produce aggressive results.
• Four-year college degree required, seminary degree strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years ministerial and operational expertise required.
• Candidates with community or young adult pastoral experience may be uniquely qualified for this position
