Clear Lake Presbyterian Church Director of Contemporary Worship and Media
Clear Lake Presbyterian Church, an 1100 member church located in Houston, Texas, is seeking a sincere follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for worship to fill a full-time Director of Contemporary Worship and Media position. This person will see beyond musical performance to incorporate elements of prayer, speaking, drama, visual arts and congregational participation in a collective performance for an “audience of One”. Ultimately the position will entail making more and better worshippers of Jesus Christ through culturally relevant mediums of art and music.


Responsibilities include recruiting, rehearsing, and leading worship ensembles for two weekend contemporary services. Candidate will collaborate with Lead Pastor and Choir Director to plan worship and to design special worship events. Candidate must possess skill in one or more contemporary band instruments and have a functional understanding of music theory along with proven ability to lead contemporary band rehearsals. Candidate must also have a functional understanding of sound system operation, computer, and media projection, including use of software such as PowerPoint and Media Shout.
This is a full-time position. Salary range is $35,000-$45,000 annually (depending on experience) plus full employer-paid benefits.
