Job Description:

TALENTS & ABILITIES:
-Experience in the work place with at least two years in Marketing & Communications

-University graduate in business, marketing, communications or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise.

-Knowledgeable in the aspects of branding/advertising with the ability to adhere to The Ark Church brand standards

-Able to manage time and schedules well and meet deadlines consistently

-Self-motivated but able to work well with a team

-A conceptual thinker, able to see ideas through to completion in a rapidly changing environment

-Results-oriented, intelligent, well-rounded, adaptable to frequent changes and able to work under pressure

-Capable of handling several tasks at once and following through

-Accurate and thorough with strong organizational skills & attention to detail

-Strong in both written and verbal communications


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
-Act as the church-wide Fellowship One guru for all training, upgrades, and use of tools

-Administrate the content, events, news graphics, videos, etc for church websites (i.e. TheArkChurch.com, OneStepCloser.tv, Project345.com)

-Administrate the content, postings, replies, discussions, events for all social media outlets (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, YouVersion)

-Write, schedule and send out the church-wide email blasts (i.e. What’s Going On at The Ark, Project 3:45, Giving Statement, Volunteer Update, etc)

-Coordinate all announcements for our weekend services (Video Announcement, Bulletin, Pre/Post Slides, Verbals, Special Handouts, etc.)

-Manage the information and deliverables needed for the Welcome Center and Visitor Center key leaders

-Manage the layout and kiosk assignments of the lobby

-Schedule videographer and photographers for capturing events

-Develop and implement communications strategies that successfully deliver information and key messages to the public

-Create and maintain a strong and productive relationship with advertising and media vendors

-Represent the church in any community event (i.e. Chamber of Commerce)

-Able to work in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver

-Performs other related duties as assigned


Office Hours:
Monday - Thursday 9AM to 5PM
Wednesday 6:30PM – 8:30PM (Wednesday night service)
Sunday 8:00AM – 1:00PM (Sunday morning services)
(Plus special event and services as required. Some projects might require time after normal business hours.)
