Overview: Tate Springs Baptist Church is a multi-generational conservative Southern Baptist Church looking for a Pastor of Students (7th – 12th grades) who can operate in a family-based model of ministry in a team approach with pastoral staff. Our total Sunday morning attendance is 550 – 650 with 65 in the student ministry. We are located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area less than one mile from one of the largest high schools in the state; there is great potential to reach students in this community.
General Responsibilities: Shepherd and serve students and families through the oversight of all aspects of Youth Ministry; Work in team concept with pastor and staff to accomplish full intergration and synergy of overall church vision as we implement it together.

We are an established SBC church located in a city of nearly 400,000 people, in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Only fifteen minutes from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Dallas Baptist University, Arlington provides opportunities for ministers who want to continue their studies or pursue advanced degrees. Arlington is also family friendly, with low crime, great neighborhoods, outstanding park systems and attractions such as Six Flags Over Texas, Texas Rangers Ballpark and the new Dallas Cowboys stadium.
God has blessed us with solid leadership in the student ministry area and our church family has recently expanded and built a state of the art children's and youth building. We have excellent facilities and resources dedicated to the continuation of this vibrant ministry area. The prior minister did an excellent job of worker enlistment and the ministry is supported by a strong team of lay leaders and volunteers. Total Sunday morning attendance is 550-650 and our student ministry averages in the mid-sixties. Tate Springs is located less than a mile from the second largest high school in the state of Texas offering incredible opportunities to reach students.
The church has enjoyed stability in staffing. The senior pastor is forty-eight and has served our congregation for nine years. There is a strong sense of unity and cooperation in the body. We are uniquely aligned with the Southern Baptists of Texas, have a $1.6 million annual church budget and a weekday education ministry with almost 200 children age 18 months through seventh grade which operates on a budget of $1 million.
