Job Description:
Job Title: Worship Director
Reports To: Senior Pastor
Responsible For: Worship and Technical Staff & Volunteers
Employee Status: Part-Time
Salary Range: DOE


Overview:

The Worship Director will serve as the Senior Pastor’s partner in shepherding our church toward maturity in Christ by cultivating our Life-Receiving relationship with Christ Jesus; Life-Nurturing relationship with one another and Life-Giving relationship with our world.

The Worship Director is responsible for revealing the Lord and leading the congregation in a worship response to Him.

Qualifications:

1. A servant-leader, committed to building the Kingdom of God.
2. Able to read music.
3. Ability to arrange, transpose, transcribe, and compose music desirable.
4. Successful experience as a church Worship/Music Director.
5. Able to plan, implement, and administer effective worship programs.
6. Computer skills including Media-Shout (or equivalent program).
7. Knowledge of and familiarity with setup, teardown, and adjustment of sound/AV/technical systems.
8. Proficiency in instrument, vocal and group training and selection of appropriate music.
9. Proven track record of motivational and effective leadership within a church atmosphere, including excellent platform skills.
10. Strong written and communication skills.
